Worth remembering
Sydney connection is tight. QF529 lands T3 at 14:15; EY451 leaves T1 at 15:40. That's 85 minutes including the terminal transfer, security and outbound immigration. Bags are through-checked on the one ticket, so you're not checking in again — but don't linger in Brisbane, and treat the TRS claim as optional rather than planned.
Tourist tax is paid at hotel checkout, not upfront — roughly €6 a night on top of the room.
Heat. 32–35°C with humidity. Three litres of water a day, SPF 50, and treat noon–4pm as beach or indoors.
